Buying Tickets

The Phoenix Theatre uses the TicketSource online box office system. This allows us to sell tickets over the internet with customers being able to choose their seats from the seating plan shown on the right. All major credit and debit cards are accepted and the service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week when tickets are on sale.
With each booking, an email confirmation is sent to the customer in the form of an “e-ticket” which includes a unique booking reference and barcode. Customers can also opt to receive the e-ticket directly to their mobile phone! On the night the customer presents their “e-ticket”, on paper or mobile phone screen, to the box-office personnel who will check it against the records on the TicketSource system by scanning the barcode or using the booking reference.
In Person - Rossiters Bookshop or Phoenix Theatre (limited opening)
For customers who don't have internet access, or prefer to pay by cash or cheque, we have an arrangement with Rossiter Books The Corn Exchange, 7 High Street, Ross-on-Wye who sell tickets on our behalf for both theatrical and cinema events.
The Box Office will also be open at The Phoenix on the first Saturday of ticket sales (usually one week prior to a performance) and also each evening prior to an evenings performance from 6.30pm. Other box-offices may be available for some events and will be indicated in the publicity material. In each case customers can choose their seats from the seating plan and will receive an “e-ticket” print-out to bring with them to the performance.

Bookings by phone to The Phoenix Theatre number 01989 564570 can be made by leaving a message requesting a call-back. Someone from the box-office will call you back and process your request. You must be prepared to pay by credit/debit card as we no longer accept “payment on arrival” as this has been abused in the past. You can collect your “e-tickets” on the door.

Tickets can also be booked via post. You should indicate your preferred seats and include a cheque and a stamped return addressed envelope. No guarantees can be made that you will receive your seating choice. You should allow at least 7 days for your booking to be processed and “e-tickets” sent to you. All requests MUST include payment.
On The Door - take a chance!
You can take a chance and turn up on the night but absolutely no guarantees can be made that seats will be available. We are a small 64 seat theatre and our theatrical shows regularly sell out. Sometimes seats do become available at the last moment but we can only re-sell seats if we are informed in good time.
